Required Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education:
- Minimum 16 years of education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- A PhD or other advanced degrees focused on Disaster/Climate Financing will be a plus.
- Contributions to academic research in disaster risk management, insurance, and climate finance will be advantageous.
Experience:
- 08 to 10 years of professional experience, including:
- 02 to 03 years of specific work in disaster risk financing, climate finance, or similar roles.
- Familiarity with designing financing instruments, implementing disaster risk strategies, and funding mobilization.
- Strong skills in partnership building and policy development are required.
