Available Positions and Detailed Eligibility Criteria

1. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Eligibility:

  • Member of a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., ICAP, ACCA) with at least 5 years of post-membership experience.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting from an HEC-recognized university with 10 years of experience, including 5 years in the public sector or SOEs.
  • Must possess robust knowledge of financial planning, compliance, corporate finance, and budgeting.

2. Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized institute with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Must be a licensed advocate of the High Court.
  • Must have expertise in corporate law, contracts, legal advisory, tendering, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience as a Senior Legal Officer or CLO in the power or public sectors is highly preferred.

3. Chief Human Resource and Admin Officer

Eligibility:

  • Master’s degree in HRM, Public Administration, or relevant discipline with at least 10 years’ relevant experience.
  • The degree must be from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
  • Certifications from reputed HR institutions are a plus.
  • Experience in policy-making, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and labor law is desirable.

4. Chief Supply Chain Management Officer

Eligibility:

  • A Master’s degree from an approved HEC institution in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operational Management (16 years of education).
  • At least 10 years of working experience in B2B purchasing, inventory administration, managing contracts and logistics, mainly in the power or manufacturing areas.
  • Supply chain or procurement certificates from respected institutes are useful for your career.

5. Company Secretary

Eligibility:

  • Member of a recognized accounting or company secretary body.
  • OR Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Law from an HEC-recognized university with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be well-versed in corporate governance, board compliance, and regulatory frameworks applicable to SOEs.

Tenure, Age Limit, and Compensation

  • Tenure: Initial contract of 2 years, extendable based on performance evaluated by SEPCO’s Board of Directors.
  • Age Limit: Maximum age is 55 years.
  • Remuneration: Selected candidates will receive market-based, competitive compensation in line with SEPCO (Contract Appointment on C-Level Positions) Regulations, 2024.

General Terms & Conditions

  • Only post-qualification experience will be considered.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Must fulfill the Fit and Proper Criteria under the State-Owned Enterprises Act 2023 and related policies.
  • Pakistani nationals only. Foreign nationals or dual citizens are ineligible.
  • Employees selected from any public-sector company must resign prior to joining SEPCO. No deputation or lien is allowed.
  • Individuals dismissed on moral or financial misconduct in the last 3 years are not eligible.
